    Description

In this listing we have the original outfit from the recently released Barbie Looks Ken doll. This outfit is from the number 5 doll in the line. It consists of an oversized black sleeveless top, a pair of black fake leather pants, and a pair of white plastic hi-tops sneakers. This outfit is designed to fit the Made to Move Ken body and will fit similar sized dolls. The shirt does not have any openings and will need to stretch to go on a doll, the pants have Velcro in the back, and the shoes have a slit in the back to help go into the doll’s feet. This outfit was made in Indonesia. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are a but more muted in person.
This outfit is in very good shape. It has never been played with and was just taken off a just removed from the box doll. I will mention that based on the doll’s price point; the clothing isn’t the best quality. It’s not bad, just not perfect. The shirt is in good shape. It is a little wrinkled from how it was held in the box. There are some excess threads at the shoulder seams at the neck, at the arm holes from the side seams, and at the bottom hem on one side. On the side seams and at the bottom hem side seam the fabric is a little uneven, one side is longer than the other. This is most obvious at the bottom side seam. The inside hem at the neckline tends to want to flip up and be visible. At the bottom there is some clear plastic sewn into the shirt hem on the inside (I assume to help keep it in place), this also tends to want to flip up and be visible. The pants look good. They also have some excess threads in the back where the Velcro is sewn on and at the side seams at the pant leg openings. I will say that the fabric they used for these won’t age well. Over time it will crack and peel, it’s just the nature of the material. I would be careful stretching this fabric since it could cause cracks to form sooner. I will mention that the material used for these pants are very thin, so I would be careful since they might rip if you pull on them too hard. They are a little wrinkled from how they were held in the box. The top stitching is also a little shaky in places, but it’s not too bad. The shoes look good. They do have seam lines and mold injection spots, but they all will have that. When you look at them closely, they do have some small molding flaws, but they are very minor. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
