D-2 High Carbon, High Chrome Tool Steel * Flat Ground  1/8" thk X 1-1/4" W X 9-1/2" L.  Air Hardening. Oversize
Notes:
1. Tolerances - Thickness is +/- 0.001", Width is + .000/.005.  If the material is listed as "Oversize" or "OS", the thickness and
width will be .010" to .015" over the stated nominal size. Lengths will be at least the stated nominal size.
2. Lengths - In general I try to keep the lengths below 12" so they can be mailed in 1st Class or Priority envelopes.  If there is more than one piece available, they
may
be available in a longer piece (example - (2) 12" pieces might be available as a 24" piece).  If it is desirable for you to have the longer length, let me know. Understand that the shipping may be higher due to the length of the package.

This material is in its annealed state (Brinell 220-255 , Rb97-102). With proper heat treating, hardness in the range of 55-62 Rc can be achieved.
Machinability is 50% (compared to 1% carbon tool steel)
