    Glass Blue Jay Flower Frog Cambridge 1137 5 1/2"
    This Cambridge Glass Co. Blue Jay flower frog is one of the more scarce of their designs. You can see online that there are many more seagulls and herons, and of course female figures. This item is in very good condition, with no chips cracks or roughness. The clear glass is that wonderful Cambridge quality and clarity. The frog is 5/12" high and a little over 4" wide. The blue that appears on the body of the bird is a reflection of the blue sky coming through the window. This item is completely clear.
    The flower frog has a round base with a “picket fence” style pattern around the edge; the flower holes are about 1/3” across and there are eight evenly placed around the surface of the base. The blue jay figural bird is solid crystal glass, he is fixed on a clear glass peg that allows the details of the wings and tail to be more easily seen. The base is about 4 "” across, overall the figure is about 5 "” tall to the tallest point of the wings. Free of chips cracks or flaw.
