    Description

    This drum was purchased a couple of years ago from Haridas's shop in Mumbai. It is meant to be tuned to C# or D, but for most of its life so far, it has been kept between B and C to reduce the strain on the head. It has the pleasant, woody tone that Vhatkar's drums are known for. It is in good condition and should have many years of life left. There is a slight "hissing" buzz in the syahi, but it is faint and can only be heard close up.
