Willie Nelson Austin 1974 by Ken Taylor (Variant Edition). Sold out.Behind The Poster
This print commemorates Willie Nelson's two concerts on June 29th and 30th in 1974 at The Texas Opry House, which took Willie from a Nashville songwriter to a Country rebel. These shows took place only a few months after Willie released one of the best concept albums ever, Phases and Stages. Those in attendance witnessed Willie and his band at their finest, showcasing the full range of his material from classics written a decade before like Crazy, to his then-current hits like Whiskey River. These concerts represent Willie his giving the high-sign to Nashville, and embracing his new musical home.
