Founded in 2011, Entangled Publishing began operations in Denver, Colorado, USA, with Liz Pelletier and Stacy Cantor Abrams among its founders. It is an independent, women-owned publisher focused mainly on romance, romantasy, fantasy, young adult, new adult, mystery, suspense, and other genre fiction. Its authors include Rebecca Yarros, Tracy Wolff, and Hannah Nicole Maehrer, among others. Entangled publishes print books and digital editions, with its books distributed internationally, including through Macmillan. Its readership spans adult, young-adult, and teen audiences, particularly readers of romance and fantasy. The company originally built its business around e-books and later expanded its emphasis on print publishing. Today, Entangled has a broad international reach, with English-language books available to readers in multiple markets.
