World Publishing Company was a well-known American publishing house headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Founded in 1946, the company built a strong reputation for publishing fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, reference works, history, and educational titles. It later became part of The Times Mirror Company, expanding the reach of its publications. During its years of operation, World Publishing Company released books in printed editions, as digital publishing had not yet become available.
