Norstedts Förlag
Norstedts Förlag is one of Sweden’s oldest and most respected publishing houses. Founded in 1823 by Per Adolf Norstedt, the company is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and operates as part of the Norstedts Förlagsgrupp. It publishes books primarily in Swedish, covering fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, and reference works. While its main market is Sweden, many of its titles gain international recognition through translation and overseas publishing partnerships. With more than two centuries of publishing experience, Norstedts Förlag has played an important role in introducing influential Swedish authors and stories to readers around the world.
